RC051 | Waveback Luke – Make Me King (FlexB Remix)

Waveback Luke has given us some incredible releases over the past few years, including this killer track Make Me King. This time round we are stoked to have, with his debut on the label FlexB giving us a crisp whilst blissful interpretation of the original composition.

FlexB bringing his optical sense of production to the piece, being able to garner all the original elements within his remix with a sharp combination of minimalistic characteristics, punching bass notes yet showing elements of extreme clarity.

“Peace Be With You” EP and Chuck Murphy get rave reviews:

“Chuck Murphy has a flash-fire hit at radio and make no mistake about it. His debut single “How Many Times” from One West Records is on fire at the format and this track is also moving across formats in a very big way. Look for a very bright future and even better things to come from the amazing Chuck Murphy.” – Larry Weir, New Music Weekly

“Quite simply, he is another one of the great American songwriters of this era, writing lyrics that are literate, poetic and mesmerizing. He’s easily the equal of some of the greats, the only difference being that, at least right now, I’d much rather listen to Murphy.…

Chuck Murphy exudes the same fleshed-out, but simple elegance which James Taylor delivers in his musical arrangements – solid melodies, luscious harmonies and a talented group of musicians playing in a tight, lean, and understated style.

“This forms the perfect platform for Murphy’s smooth, expressive voice and his multidimensional guitar styles”
— Rick Jamm, Jamsphere Magazine

“CHUCK MURPHY is back at radio with another gem in “Falling Star” (One West). The new single, a tribute to the late Glenn Frey, is moving at rapid speed on our AC40 chart and the track is also making bold moves at New Music Weekly and at FMQB…”

How Many Times By Chuck Murphy

I know it’s hard to look inside
You never know what you may find
Someone you thought that you had known
Fades away and your alone

Like the rain that falls at night
You know it there just out of sight
The wind will blow it through the trees
You know it’s wet you know its feel

How many times have I wanted
How many times have I lost
How Many time have I stood on the edge
without a bridge to cross

You can’t run you can’t hide
Behind love behind pride
Like the rain that falls at night
You know it there just out of sight

So you try to talk it through
But no one is listening to you
Your holding on your letting go
To someone that you thought you known

How many times have I wanted
How many times have I lost
How Many time have I stood on the edge
without a bridge to cross

How many times have I wanted
How many times have I lost
How Many time have I stood on the edge
without a bridge to cross
