Ashot Danielyan – “Mountain Prayer” (Album Preview)

Full Album here: https://ashotdanielyan.bandcamp.com/album/mountain-prayer-2

This is a preview of my new album “Mountain Prayer”. It contains a parts from the all tracks of the album. I Hope you enjoy my new album! 🙂

“Mountain Prayer” is the album which was created in a various genres such as: Piano, Ambient, World, Classical and Cinematic music. The album has a contemplative, meditative, thoughtful and mystical otherworldly mood.

This album is very important for me, because the story of creation of this album goes to a far 2014 when the first track “Mountain Prayer (The First Pray)” had been created. And it was really a very long way! And now the album is finished.
I hope you enjoy this album! 🙂

The maze of dreams / Le labyrinthe des songes

What’s keeping our minds so busy ?

In the depths of our minds lies the core of what we are, yet it’s almost impossible to define what it is.
Starting to think about it gets your brain to shut down, for it cannot find any logical pattern to explain the mysterious sensation of being. Trapped in a variable loop, our thoughts never cease to flow, giving that genuine feeling of existence.

Are we afraid of being alone with our inner self ?

Watch your thoughts, don’t judge them. Let them be, don’t grasp onto them. Your mind is a maze whose exit door will find you sooner or later. What’s beyond is the ultimate enlightenment, a state of pure bliss and joy.

WESAK – “Buddha Day” [original mix]

ॐ WESAK – Also known as “Buddha Day”, it commemorates the birth, enlightenment and death of the Buddha, Siddhattha Gotama. Buddhist scriptures state that each of these significant events occurred on the full moon of the Indian lunar month of Vesakha.
The theme for our May 2017 Wesak Full Moon is Compassion & Kindness – awakening to something greater than you through your Heart. It is also the Full Moon of Good Fortune and a new cycle of expansive creativity and juicy self-expression. It is a time to play more, let your inner-child run wild and with a carefree air of Grace follow the passions of the Heart.
Happy Wesak and Full Moon dear friends , Namaste ॐ

Oliver Koletzki – By My Side [Snippet]

// Get Oliver Koletzki’s new album ‘The Arc of Tension’
incl. ‘A Tribe Called Kotori’ here: OK.lnk.to/TheArcOfTension

Artist: Oliver Koletzki
Release Title: The Arc of Tension
Label: Stil vor Talent
Catalogue No: SVT193
Release: 2016-05-19

On his sixth album, The Arc of Tension, the Berlin based DJ, label owner and producer OLIVER KOLETZKI yet again presents his remarkable vision of contemporary electronic music, while he assumes the role of a storyteller. The Arc of Tension speaks to its listener as a singular, self contained work, which communicates by way of its natural flow and arc of suspense. The latter is mirrored not only in the multifarious narrative of the actual album, but can also be understood as evidence for its creator’s long musical history.

While Koletzki focussed on a diverse range of vocal collaborations on his previous long players, he now moves on to a different form of storytelling, rooted in the quiet confidence of a veteran musician, as well as the hectic lifestyle of a globally in demand DJ. The Arc of Tension is the psychonautic journey through the various continents of Oliver’s consciousness. The quiet chirps and warbles, which initially unfold on the opener ‘A Tribe Called Kotori’, thus act as a loose associative bridge to ‘Der Mückenschwarm’, Oliver’s big breakthrough hit of 2005. The first minutes of the album leave no room for doubt – we are immediately locked into an autobiographical world of sound that knows how to captivate from the get go. The dreamy, exotic timbres of the downbeat tracks ‘By My Side’, Tankwa Town’ and ‘Byron Bay’ penetrate our minds in a subtle yet purposeful manner. But soon the tension tightens and organic sounds one by one evolve towards a sterner, electronic cadence. The bittersweet neon synths of ‘Spiritual Not Religious’ pave the way for the complex rhythm of ‘A Star Called Akasha’, an early highlight carried by melancholic cellos and contemplative piano chords. The ultimate turning point follows with ‘Through the Darkness’. Here, at the album’s centre, Koletzki starts continuously upping the tempo and leads the way with his very own, melodic interpretation of today’s techno Zeitgeist, which he has been shaping since 2015’s ‘Iyéwaye’.

‘Planetarium’, ‘They Can’t Hold Me Back’ and ‘Chaturanga’ exemplify, moreover, that a fusion of delicate musicality and sheer force leads to impressively ecstatic results. With its rough guitar chords and the acidic chitter of the TD303, ‘Power to the People’ rings in The Arc of Tension’s ending, until we fully take off into space, weightlessly propelled by the ambient drones of ‘The Day We Leave Earth’. Ultimately, what lingers is the feeling that we are being granted a deep glance into the innermost being of an outstanding artist.
